Our Vietnam tour, Hanoi to Muine, combines many of the country’s essential sites and some of its hidden places with a wide variety of destinations and landscapes. Beginning in Vietnam’s elegant capital Hanoi and finishing in bustling, vibrant Saigon our tour includes World Heritage Hue, charming Hoi An, Sapa, the dramatic scenery of Halong Bay, Ninh Binh Province with its UNESCO World Heritage, Trang An landscapes and the picturesque Mekong Delta.

The last days of your trip you can relax at MÅ©i Né, a beach resort town along the South China Sea in Southeast Vietnam.

DAY 1

Arrival Hanoi

Upon arrival, meet at airport and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2

Hanoi City Tour

Morning program: Your guide will lead you on a city tour by bicycle  to visit Uncle Ho. Learn about his great life at the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays) and Presidential Gardens, Temple of Literature. All visitors to the mausoleum are required to wear clothes covering your knees and shoulders. This applies to both men and women.

PM: Visit the Ethnology museum, Tran Quoc pagoda and cycle tour around 36 old quarter streets.

DAY 3

Hanoi - Halong

AM: 8.00 Drive to Halong. We will have 4 hour drive to there.
11.30–12.15 Arrival at Hon Gai International Harbour.
12.30–13.00 Transfer by tender to boat, enjoy welcome drink. Depart to Bai Tu Long Bay.
13.00–14.30 Enjoy Lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15.30–16.30 Transfer from boat to rowing boat to visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Rowers are local people wearing traditional costume. It’s the opportunity to see the fisher’s daily life with the primary features in the charming nature
16.45–17.30 Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Ban Chan Beach.
17.30 Return to boat. Continue cruising through the bay.
18.30 Anchor for overnight at Cong Do area.
19.30–21.00 Savor a delicious set dinner in dining room.
21.00–23.00 Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.

DAY 4

Halong - Hanoi (Night train)

AM: 06.30 Enjoy sunrise over the bay.
06.45–07.45 Coffee, tea & breakfast pastries served in dining room
08.00–08.30 Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
09.00–09.30 Check-out and luggage collection
09.30–10.30 International brunch served in dining room
10.30–11.00 Arrival at the pier. Farewell.
PM: Drive to Ha Noi for private Phan Thanh Liem mini water puppet show (http://roinuocvietnam.com).
20.30 Transfer to railway station for night train to Lao Cai (air-con cabin/4 persons per cabin)

DAY 5

Lao Cai - Market Sapa

After breakfast in Lao Cai. Drive to visit Coc Ly (Tue) / Cao Son (Wed) / Can Cau (Sat) / Bac Ha (Sun) market. (Depend on the date). Then walking Tay minority village before transfer to Sapa town

DAY 6

Sapa trekking 

8h30 full day trekking 11 km down to valley in Lao Chai - Ta Van minorities villages. Sleep in homestay. You can ask the local guide to make the trekking less long and hard and do part of it by car or motorbike. A lot will depend on the weather.

DAY 7

Sapa - Hanoi

AM: Continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai village – Bambo forest – Supan – Ban Ho village and back to Sapa town.
PM: 15h00 Tourist bus to Ha Noi at 21h00. It takes. 5 hours to drive there, on the way stop sometime for photos and drink.

DAY 8

Hanoi - Ninh Binh 

AM: 9h00 Drive to Tam Coc – Ninh Binh, situated in an area full of vast ricefields, limestone rock formations and caves. Upon arrival you make a trip on small rowing boats thru the spectacular area. Bicycle around rice fields in Tam Coc village. Transfer to Ninh Binh  railway station for night train to Dong Hoi (21h30 – 06h00).

DAY 9

Dong Hoi - Phong Nha

Arrival in Dong Hoi railway station at 6h00. Breakfast. Then transfer to  Phong Nha  for boat trip about 2,5 hours.

PM: After lunch, drive  to National park for 1- 4km trekking (depend on you for long or short trekking )


DAY 10

Paradise cave – Zipline – Hue

Drive 25 km to the cave. After you walk up the jungle about 600m, you will enjoy 1km inside Paradise cave with cool weather, the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites and then you will have zipline and kayak near the Dark cave. Bicycle 8-12km around village and rice fields.

Transfer to Dong Hoi station. Take soft seat train SE7 from Dong Hoi to Hue. Drive 1 km to hotel.

DAY 11

Hue City Tour 

8h00 In the morning take visit the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda, the Imperial Citadel, and Dong Ba market.
We drive to the mausoleums of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Boat trip back to centre.

DAY 12

Hue - Hoi An

Breakfast in hotel.
7h30 Proceed to Danang by car on a trip that is a highlight of central Vietnam. The three-hour drive hugs the ocean coastline, winds through emerald-green paddy fields and climbs over the dramatic Hai Van Mountain pass. And then visit Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills. It’s a smal french‘s town in the mountain, 55 km south-west of Danang. Drive to Hoi An.



DAY 13

Hoi An

AM: Cooking class with Water Wheel!
7h30 - 8h00 Water Wheel’s staff meets you at your hotel lobby (Hoi An Area), then you will go bicycle to Hoi An’s colourful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients you will use in the cooking lesson later. Make sure your camera is handy. Continue to Tra Que Water Wheel. Take a rest with special welcome drink.
You will be taken around the herbs garden where local farmers work on their field using organic methods from 300 years ago.
Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. Make some flowers and animals by vegetables for decoration. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked. Return to the hotel

PM: Bicycle around Hoi an city to visit villages and see how people grow vegetable as well as their daily life.



DAY 14

Hoi An - Danang  airport - Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi

AM: Transfer to airport and fly to HCM city VN117 DADSGN 1000 1155 .

PM: Drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels, just outside Ho Chi Minh City. During the war for independence, “Viet Cong” guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. Depending on the season, visitors can see harvesting or planting of rice fields en route. View occupations such as cashew nut farming and production of rice paper, a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine.

DAY 15

Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta

After breakfast in hotel,  depart Ho Chi Minh City for a scenic morning drive through the Mekong Delta. At My Tho take a boat to Coconut Island. Enjoy a brief walk on the island, trying native fruits and viewing local handicraft production. Continue by boat to Tan Thach commune to visit a family-run enterprise making coconut candies. Take a horse-drawn cart to Quoi Son to visit a bee farm and to enjoy tea and candies. Float on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta.
PM: Return by boat to My Tho. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

Ho Chi Minh – City Tour  - Mui Ne

AM: Visit war museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office. Walk to Ben Thanh market pass opera and Continental hotel .

PM: Drive to Mui Ne without guide and free relax on swimming pool or nice beach .
