René Vertonghen
René founded the company together with his wife Ngan in 2002 and is mainly responsable for sales, customer satisfaction and long term strategies.
Nguyen Thi Ngan
Co-founder and General Manager, Ngan now lives in HCMC and travels to Hanoi once in a while to assist the staff. She is responsable for the entire operation in Vietnam: production, organisation, logistics, contracts, etcetera. She still takes time to check all activities we offer to our clients. Her smile is legendary.
Mrs. Tu
Tu joined Golden Tortoise in 2011 and is in charge of Operations in Hanoi and two of our key accounts.
Mrs. Dinh Anh
Discreet but efficient, Anh handles all operations for some important accounts and direct clients.
Mrs. Tuoi
Tuoi, like Anh, joined us in 2013. She likes to travel and is always in a good mood. These days she focuses on direct clients.
Mrs. Hoa
Mrs. Hoa is our latest recruit. She handles all accountancy activities.

Golden Tortoise is a full-service travel agent specialized in travel to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos offering Western style services at local prices.
This means that we cover all the needs of our visitors from the moment they set foot in Southeast Asia to the moment they pass the immigration gates to go home. We work with Tour Operators and Travel Agents as well as with individual tourists.

How do we work?
We like to provide for all the aspects of a trip in Asia to ensure consistency, quality control and get the best deals available for our clients throughout their whole journey. A classic package would include itinerary planning, visa services, transportations, food and accommodation, guide services, sports, cultural or entertainment activities.
Usually, we don’t provide single services, such as visa services only or transportations services only but depending on your request, we can sometimes also adapt our services to your specific single needs, on a case by case basis.
